Welcome to FRIGHT CLUB!

The first rule of FRIGHT CLUB is that we ALWAYS talk about FRIGHT CLUB!

This is your chance to join other lovers of the horror/speculative/sci-fi fiction genre and talk shop!

Let’s discuss our favourite terrifying tales with other fright loving friends once a month at the Cannington Branch of the Brock Libraries.

We will meet at 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Timothy Findlay Memorial Library

And what counts as Horror?

Because horror comes in many different shades from gothic to slasher to a monster to psychological to weird to whatever we’ll keep things pretty open. As long as a book strives to unsettle and is speculative in nature it’s fair game.

When do we start?

The first book will start on Tuesday September 17th–  and will continue on the THIRD TUESDAY of every month.   Since we will not have a pre-decided title, the first meeting can be a meet and greet and talking about the genre and favourite writers.

Also, October is Stephen King month and we’ll run an all King poll to see which book we should read. This poll can be shared on social media and in branches.
