We are happy to announce the reinstatement of our interlibrary loan (ILL) service. Processing of ILL requests will resume on June 14th, 2019.
We know how important this service is to our users and appreciate the feedback we have received regarding the ILL service during the recent hiatus.
While we are restoring the ILL service without any changes to our policy it is important to note that you may still notice some changes. A change to the funding model for the provincial interlibrary loan service has led some library systems to reduce the amount of materials they lend through the provincial system. Other libraries will be maintaining their freeze on ILL lending altogether. For you, our user, this will likely mean a reduction in the availability of materials we can request. We also anticipate that several variables introduced through these recent changes may contribute to greater wait times for ILL materials. Regardless, our staff will continue striving to fulfill your requests as quickly as possible.
If you have any further questions or concerns about interlibrary loan please don't hesitate to contact us.
